On the 25 of June 1991, the Slovene nation finally got their so longed-for state but the birth of a new state meant also the death of Tito’s Yugoslavia. Yugoslav tanks rolled into Slovenia on 27 June 1991, just two days after the region had declared independence. It was the first republic to break away from the socialist state created by Marshal Tito in 1945. The decisions made by Slovene politicians in 1991 affected the whole Yugoslavia, so discover the places where they were made, get to know the stories behind them and relive the unrepeatable political and historical period from this part of Europe.
